Maybe you guys can help. We are staying club level at WL. My hubby said to stay one extra night but no club level available. Should I stay at a regular room the extra night at WL or move to another resort?
Thanks! |

If you are booked at WL for the extra night it is possible that someone from WL CL could help you out with CL availability for that last night. I know December is busy, but there might be a better chance of them getting it for you if you're staying there anyway.

aahhha! I am so excited! I just booked our Wilderness Lodge stay for Feb 13th. I was able to pull off a night at the world before our Feb 2013 Cruise aboard the fantassy. I am so excited to bring the kids here!!
Question to put out there - We arrive into MCO around 11am and plan to take the Magical Express to the WL. Our car picks us up 10am the following morning to take us to Port Canaveral. Do you think we should try and squeeze in a visit to Magic Kingdom once we arrive or just hang out at the hotel and enjoy the amenities for the rest of the day? I bought a room only package and figured if we changed our mind we could buy park tickets last minute. I am really torn...we will be so close, it might be hard to resist the temptation to visit the park. But if we can entertain ourselves without going I can save some money to be used on the cruise. I should mention my kids are 5 and 3. I think they are going to love it. this thread is great!

I'm baaaaaaack!!!! Booked from 4/18 - 4/28 in a woods view, bunk bed room (no CL this time) - this after an almost major meltdown from DD8 who thought that SAB looked too scary and said she refuses to go down that slide and that she doesn't understand why we can't go back to her favorite resort, the WL, especially since it's her birthday trip...

. We stayed in a courtyard view room (faced the inner courtyard/pool) and for us, it's totally worth it .Quote:

. The WL is a beautiful resort and it might be nice to spend the day exploring the resort before going on your cruise; but then again, you are very close to MK (I'm not really helping ). Good luck with whatever you decide .

I am still debating which floor Woods View to request for next month all based on that open versus enclosed balcony wall. Its our only 43" DS6 that I'm thinking about. Does anyone have pics of the two different types of balconies for comparison? Thanks in advance!

OOOH. You'll have to let me know how that time frame is; those are the days I'm thinking of for 2013!

Which room location (coutyard)?
Just switched resorts from POR to WL. It is my first time at WL and my first deluxe resort...so excited!
I am going to be there from 10th of Dec. to the 17th with my DH, DS2 and DS5. Can't wait to see all the Christmas decorations.Need some advise on which rooms to request. I booked a courtyard room. I was going to ask to be facing inner courtyard and to be on the 5th floor. I just don't know which room location to ask for, North wing, south wing or lobby (bear faced). I am concerned by the noise of lobby (WCC) or pool (afternoon activities). I like the views better on the South side but don't know if it is too far of a hike to all amenities (lobby, bus, boat.) North side seems more convenient but the view of the lake seems to be hidden by the trees. Are the lobby rooms noisy? Help would be much appreciated, thanks! |

I see on the first page that the boat between MK and WL runs until an hour after the park closes. Does that include evening EMH and party nights? So if EMH ends at 1AM, the boat will be running?

![]() We were there during a low crowd time, but we really enjoyed the lobby room. We could however occasionally hear noise from WCC in the lobby. We previously stayed in room 6025, which is a Courtyard view about halfway down the North Wing of the hotel, and it had a beautiful view of the pool and Bay Lake. ![]() It was possible to hear noise from the pool from this room, although it was probably quieter than a lower floor or a non-enclosed balcony would have been. For us, our "perfect room" would be a bear face room so that we would get to have the best view out both ends of the room. The view looking straight out toward Bay Lake is just beautiful. If someone wanted the quetest possible Courtyard View option though, a South side Courtyard view facing South towards the Hidden Springs pool might be preferable, but that would be for someone more concerned about noise than we are. For Woods View, being on the North side of the North wing with a view of Wishes has appeal. The biggest thing to remember is WL is a comparatively small resort, so no matter where you end up you won't be too far from anything. We feel room locations at WL are basically just different flavors of perfection, and by trying a different location we found things we liked we wouldn't have even known about. Enjoy your stay, it should be great.

We did this in September. We enjoyed the boat after EMH ended about midnight. We also took advantage of knowing that the boats were running so we could visit another resort later at night, then take a bus to MK and the boat back to WL, even if we didn't go to MK for the EMH or Party.
