I agree with this. My picky eater DD doesn't like things that are heavily seasoned. I'll often throw a plain chicken breast that hasn't been marinated on the grill for her because she prefers it that way. She'll eat steak with just a dash of salt on it. If the chicken or steak at BOG came seasoned with anything strong or unusual, I'd ask if it could be prepared unseasoned for her.

I'm thrilled they are offering "normal" food on the kids menu - that first photo looked like my dinner last week, LOL. What is so weird about chicken, pasta and broccoli?
I have picky kids, but they are required to try everything I put in front of them. If they truly don't like it, then that's okay. But judging and not eating food just because of the way it looks doesn't fly with me. Last year in EP, we had an ADR at Nine Dragons - it was one of our best meals. Mainly because my 2.5 y/o entertained us all by eating his entire plate of lo mein with a pair of chopsticks. Kids will surprise you! I'd be willing to guess that a lot of those kids that will eat nothing but chicken nuggets / pizza only do so because that is what is put in front of them all the time.

I can't possibily imagine a child surviving just on nuggets. Even for a week of vacation. My kids have different tastes, can sometimes be quite picky and that's fine to a point, but they eat what's in their plate or else they wait until next meal or snack.

I really don't see anything "weird" on the menu other than maybe the turkey meatloaf, which is never a good idea (and I say that as the queen of subbing turkey for fattier meats... that works well in sauces and casseroles and other mixed items, but not in meatloaf or burgers!). My 4yo would eat every single thing pictured and I hope that the menu is more or less unchanged by the time we get there because it looks far, far more to her tastes than most non-signature restaurants' kids menus.

That being said on a separate note... All right I can hear the responses already lol.... Some children cant help being picky eaters. Believe me my parents tried the "You dont leave the table until you eat all that is on your plate" and there was one occassion where my sister did not eat anything but bread and butter for a 4 days. She also stayed with family who were convinced they could "cure" her of her eating habits, hmm that didnt work either. She actually attended food therapy and after all this added maybe 1 or 2 foods to her diet. She has a sensitivity to food (textures, temperatures, tastes) and there are lots of kids that have this as well, this is not abnormal. Anyways, just some food for thought about picky eaters

I showed my 8 y/o granddaughter the menu and she's excited. The 1st words out of her mouth were, "good, I love steak and mahi mahi but I thought disney only made pb&j and nuggets". I'm glad there are options out there like nuggets and pb&j but we just don't eat like that except for the occasional quick lunch or dinner. just like anyone else I can only eat so many burgers so I can imagine there are just as many kids out there that get tired of the same meal of nuggets offered at every disney venue for lunch and dinner...a week of that and i can only imagine how old it would get.
