Question Cabin 6152?

Just booked the Wonder for March. Got cabin 6152 wondered if anyone has tried this cabin out yet? What did you think? Location? White walled balcony? Did a search and nothing came up on this room. Thanks for any help. Mky

I think that is the mirror cabin to 6652, which used to be my favorite till I fell in love with 5650. It's a white wall verandah, but the verandah is a little larger than the norm. It's a very quiet area because there is only one cabin past it (a handicapped one). The reason I like 5650 better is that there are NO guest cabins behind it, nor staterooms across the hall. But 6652 is a deck higher, so you will hear less of the thrusters while docking. They don't bother me at all in 5650, but some people don't like them.

6152

My husband and I were in 6152 last May. We loved it! Since you are the second to last room, there is no traffic or kids running around.

The balcony is extremely large - which was wonderful.

We liked it so much, we booked the same room again. I think you will be pleased.

Talking

Thanks for the replies, I thought it looked like a good location. The white wall balcony should not bother us, it's a step up from the navigator last time. So we are happy with our choice.

Thanks again, MKY

Are you looking for pics from the Dream/Fantasy or the Magic/Wonder? The thread you posted on is from 2004 and is talking about the Wonder.

In the FAQ sticky at the top of the boards under STATEROOMS, you will see a link for VIRTUAL STATEROOM TOUR you can look there for any pics of the cabins you have booked.

We stayed in 6652 a few weeks ago. My mom liked the oversized verandah. The room only sleeps 3 and so does 6650 as we booked both for next year's repo cruise. I have switched out 6650 for an inside nearby since I don't care about a verandah and it will save us about $500 or so.

We liked the location as it wasn't busy. It was a tad noisy from the engines at times, but not constant or too annoying since we re-booked the same room.

Old post, new interest.

I looked back at my notes over the years of different rooms we stayed in and this was my favorite on the Wonder. Quiet, one flt. up to the "secret verandah" and quick access up to BBB. The doorway isn't in line with other doors and the verandah was very deep. I would book this room in a heartbeat.

I would like to know the difference between cabins 5650 and 6652? What is the difference between these balconies. Can anyone help? I know 5650 is lower/closer to the water. 6652 looks much larger in the diagrams. Is it? Also, does someone have a picture? All I have seen is photos of "average" balconies - these are not those cabins! Thanks!
