Best meals for 6 Adults and 4 Kids (ages 1, 2, 3, & 4)?

NEXT September I am embarking on a 3 Family Disney Trip:

A) My wife and I, and Kids (will then be ages 2 1/2 and 4 1/2)

B) My brother, sis-in-law, and Kids (will then be ages 1 1/2 and 3 1/2)

C) My parents

We are doing a 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom at BLT or VWL.

DINING WISE:

1) What are the best SIT DOWN restaurants for this age? (I am thinking in-room eating, Quick service, and ONLY Buffet's for sit down). My thoughts are Chef Mickey's, Trail's End (w/ Campfire Sing-a-long), Crystal Palace, etc.

2) Is ONE sit down PER DAY too much to plan for?

3) Is eating EVERY MEAL together TOO MUCH to plan for? (i.e. - should I say on 2 of the days that we "plan" for ourselves?)

Also:

*We will be paying OOP with a tables in wonderland discount (I am paying for everyone to get the discount if they eat with me, which they want to for the most part)

*We are going 9-28-13 --- 10-5-2013

Thanks for your advice!!!!!

Also: we are getting groceries delivered (I think) when we arrive for that option.

We did a large party of 10 two years ago and ended up eatting most meals together, but the plan was to do at least dinner together every days. We have some who are really early risers and others who like to sleep in so we didn't want people to feel like they were either waiting around all morning for others or getting up way earlier than they'd like just so we could all have breakfast.

Planning dinner together worked out great because if we didn't spend the day together for whatever reason we all got to share what we had done for the day.

We really enjoyed Garden Grill at Epcot - it's not a buffet but was family style all you could eat and it was nice to have someone serve us. There are also characters and the staff was great with the kids.

We also did 1900 Park Fare at GF one night and that worked out really well too. That one is a buffet and very relaxed.

Have fun planning.
