Is Photopass doing any new Magical Shots, you know, the ones where they insert characters into the photos after they're taken?

I've heard they were testing a couple new ones at DHS. Sebastian by Voyage of the Little Mermaid and Chip near Beauty & the Beast show.

Looks good, but how up to date is the info? This page still lists the Photopass pre-order price as $99. Just wondering...

We got Chip at DHS (no Sebastian) and also, not sure if this is new or just new for us, but we got the two frogs from Princess & The Frog at MK on our last full day there.

I looked over the All Ears page and for the price, are you paying for the CD, or is that a separate charge from the $170 pre-order?

I preordered photo pass last two trips and never had a magical shot. Do you ask for them? Or is it a surprise and delight sort of thing? I have five kids on my trip...some of these would be very nice treats!

stitchkingdom.com has a good definitive guide that tells where and when all the shots are and all the purchase options available.

In the last few years I have usually had to ask for magic shots. Not all the photographers do them and I have not had many that volunteer them lately.

$170 is the price for the CD with all of your pictures on it.

When we were there we had some photo pass people just tell us what to do and other times we asked. We did tinkerbell in our hands on Main Street. In Epcot in front of the bell we had Mickey and friends parasailing over our heads. At animal kingdom in front of the tree we had stitch coming out of the ground. One photopass person told us if you go to meet tiana the same person that takes your picture with her, will take one with prince naveen as a frog in your hand.

We just got back. @Hollywood Studios they did Mickey, Stitch and Minnie sitting next to you. They did. Chip in your hand outsider the B&B show. They did Sebastian outside the Little Mermaid show.
At MNSSHP they did the frog in your hand, the hitch hiking ghosts, the hearse driver and one of the building on fire outside POTC.

Ask photographers that don't have a tripod. If they can't do one, odds are they'll steer you towards someone who can.

On previous trips at least a few photographers offered the shots. On this trip not a single one suggested any, and we had tons of pics taken. When I really want magic shots, I ask.
