Spa Gift Certificates - The DIS Discussion Forums

Hello!

Not sure if this is the right board but it seemed the closest!

Im surprising my parents and my younger sister with a nine night trip in June for Christmas.

Im putting together a box for each of them filled with Disney and Vacation like stuff and one of the things that I want to make sure is in there is a gift certificate to the Grand Floridian Spa.

Does anyone know if I can order those at the actual hotel becaue the Spa is closed until Dec 5th. I just dont want to wait until then in case I dont get them in time for Christmas.

Any help would be appreciated!

Have you checked the spa's website. I don't know if it's re-opening under the same management, Niki Bryant Spas. That's who has operated the GF Spa for years.

You can get them directly off of the website, as stated above.

I usually purchase mine ahead of time, so they are paid for before my trip. That way I can also choose which one I want to go to when I get there; although I favor SSR.

Just called to try and order the gift certificates and they sent me over to Saratoga Springs to see if I could get them through them. The lady that I spoke with told me that she couldnt sell me anything until January at which point the Grand Floridian would be open again and then she said the Saratoga Springs was going to be closing????

I just got a call back today for a position as a massage therapist at the GF spa! I know they plan on reopening early December. I will post once I know for sure and when you can purchase gift certificates or make appointments. The director mentioned they would be making appointments a few weeks before opening. I will keep you posted.

I thought I read somewhere that they will be re-opening under WDW not Nikki Bryan anymore

You are correct. Disney is taking over the spa and it won't be run by Nikki Bryan. This is a good thing ! There will be better service and the spas a being completely remodeled. They will be even more beautiful than before!
