At Kidani I finally learned about dark rooms
Over the years I've seen complaints from Dis-ers who thought various resort rooms were "too dark" (I think this was usually with respect to the Poly).
I didn't really understand why that was an issue because I never thought any of the resorts I stayed at were too dark, and that a "dark room" isn't necessarily a bad thing after being the blazing hot sun all day. I finally experienced the "dark room" last week at Kidani. The bathroom was so dark I could hardly see to shave. In the bedroom I had difficulty seeing my clothes in the dresser, and it was too dark to read before going to sleep at night. This was a minor issue for me because a) I don't like to shave on vacation and b) I was so tired at night I couldn't stay awake to read anything anyway. ![]() Great resort, lovely room, but think twice about staying here if you require a bright room.

I thought the same thing! Plus the furniture being so dark, etc. However, it being a 'lodge' I should have known I guess. I loved the resort otherwise and probably wouldn't let it stop me from staying again.

Absolutely love Kidani, but the bathroom is rather dark. I'm thinking of bringing a lit make-up mirror to keep in our Owners Locker so I can see to put my face on in the mornings.

I have to admit, this is one of the aspects that attracts me to Kidani!

I much prefer Kidani's dark decor to Jambo's! We open the drapes and the shears in the morning and it lets in a lot of light! The master bath on the other hand is quite dimly lit but I don't mind it!

We love Kidani, I agree about the dark rooms but we return every time.
It was hard to see in the bathroom but it was managable to us. On the plus side it was great for naps, so dark!
