It will get busier as you move towards Christmas Day and all the kids getting out of school. From what I've read, mid June is not that bad. I would compare Dec. 22, 2010 to almost July 4th levels.

I will be there Dec. 15-24th. A few years ago I was there Dec. 20-25. So...I don't think it is that bad. It could always be worse (the week between Christmas and New Years!!!). Each day will be a little busier than the last, but nothing beats Disney at Christmas!!!

It may sound obvious, it is busy during the afternoons but not nearly as hot as June. How does this impact my family? We hit a park at rope drop and are able to hop around WDW until about 5pm. Normally we are forced to take a break by 2pm due to the heat in the month of June. Also, because it gets dark earlier, you can take in the feeling of the night time atmosphere at 6 or 7pm as opposed to having to wait until 9 or 10pm in June.

So...........if you have a touring plan you should really have a great time that will be remembered as being very special.
