I'm headed on this trip next Sunday! Can't wait! Looking forward to 8 glorious sea days and time on the islands. If you've had a cruise that had sea days, did you enjoy them? I had 3 my last trip and it definitely wasn't enough on a Disney ship. Way too much to do and way too many ways to relax. I don't know if 8 will he enough. I'm going to thoroughly enjoy them.

I haven't done the HI cruise, but we went to Kauai for a week 2 years ago. If there is one offered, and even if you have to book it yourself, do a helicopter tour of the island. It was my splurge for the trip and it was 200% worth it. Just breathtaking.

I so agree. I'm not sure if DCL offered it but we did it on our own. We had a private helicopter tour. It was amazing. Breathtaking. We chose the private because it only sat 2-3 people so there was never a bad view or seat. We chose the doors off option which made it even better. We flew with Mauna Loa Helicopters and HIGHLY recommend this company.

I suppose that is true depending upon how much time there is in port. I'm not familiar with DCLs ports or times in Hawaii.
