Looking at the T-Rex menus available online, looks like the pickings for herbivores are pretty slim, at least regarding entrees.
2 of the 3 pasta dishes seem to have meat sauce, although the tortellini does not. And that's about it. there's no veggie burger on the menu, can they do a veggie patty substitution? Any other vegetarians eat here? |

Your right, slim pickings for vegetarians. Bummer. I'd honestly give the restaurant a call personally and find out.
Found this note on one of the websites: *This location can accommodate most special dietary needs. Advance notice may be required and cancellation fees may apply. 48-hour advance may be required. Please contact the restaurant directly at (407) 828-TREX (8739). Please indicate any special dietary need at time of reservation booking.

Hmm, well that's better than nothing, I guess. Too bad they don't have anything on the menu.
BTW...apparently this question hasn't been asked much. This very thread comes up SECOND in a Google search for "Vegetarian Entrees T-Rex Downtown Disney". |

Lol! Really? Wow, i guess not many vegetarians go to TRex. Lol! Not sure what type of meals youre looking for, but i've had nacho's (no meat) and quesedilla's (no meat) and they were both delish! Im pretty sure they can make pasta (ravioli) with a tomato or cheese sauce. Not sure if they have a veggie burger, but when you call, report back and let us know. Im sure this info will be useful for others in the near future.

The kids and I are vegetarian, but my wife is vegan, so dishes with cheese are no good for her. Perhaps the mushroom ravioli can be served without the lobster sauce.
Based on most reviews, I certainly wouldn't dine there for the food, but my 3 yr old DS does love dinosaurs, so I thought he might enjoy it. We may not use the ADR afterall. we'll see. |

We have gone to WDW as vegetarians 2 times now, and always avoided T-Rex. Not because they didn't have vegetarian options, but because of the reputation T-Rex has. Overpriced for the quality of food you get.
We were vegetarian for 2+ years, and in looking at the menu, here are what could be good options: Brachiosaurus Bruschetta Footprints Flatbread without chicken T-Rexadillas made without Chicken Omnivore's Delight Salad Jurassic Salad Mammoth Mushroom Ravioli made without lobster sauce (sub cream sauce instead) Triassic Tortellini

yeah, as I said, we wouldn't be going for the cuisine, or the value, but rather for the dinosaur themeing.
The menu has a large "Carnivore" section; shame they couldn't add a small "Herbivore" section. Missed opportunity! I believed that most dinosaurs were herbivores after all |

They can generally adjust the meals a bit to work for vegetarians. Rainforest will do the same if you ask the manager discretely.
And yes, I am vegetarian and have eaten there. |

Quesadilla looks good. Maybe order w/o meat?
