What is going in next to Small World? - The DIS Discussion Forums

I know that this may have already been answered somewhere, but I can't find it. So, what exactly is going in next to Small World on your way to the Haunted Mansion? We were there a few weeks ago and saw that they were building something.

If you're referring to the area where the skyway building used to be, they are putting in bathrooms.

Restrooms themed to Rapunzel somehow. I'd love to use EasyWDW's term for it but I'm not sure that's kosher here. Instead, in true DIS form, I'll use the acronym and you can figure it out: the UWR experience.

I keep waiting for Disney's official UWR announcement! I wonder how the fastpass will work for it?

And this is about the right time to perpetuate the rumor that Rapunzel, and perhaps even Flynn, may also set up a M&G in this area. Time will tell.

We just walked through that area on a tour last week. The guide was a bit vague about what exactly was going on in that space, but he did mention restrooms and that there would be some kind of cell phone/electronic device charger where you can get a super-fast quick charge for your devices. I believe the building may also house some of the equipment for upcoming technological advances such as the RFID bracelet.

What they really need is to put in an interactive queue for the bathrooms!! At least for the ladies room- have you seen some of the lineups?? But I'm sure that Disney has already thought of that and will be engineering fastpass plus for the busier ladies rooms.

Yeah, they're putting bathrooms ALONG the line...how interactive can you get?

I think what the PP was saying is that once the new Rapunzel washrooms are up and flushing, they will demolish the old washrooms beside PeterPan and turn that space into an interactive queue. Since the lineups for Peter Pan are so song, it will give kiddies something to entertain them while they wait in line for the ride.
