I've been negligent about posting since I got back from BCV. I had a wonderful trip!! Lots of quality time with Teena which was awesome! And I'm proud that I was able to give her a little something from Epcot's 30th. (I got an extra button that they were handing out and asked Teena if she would be able to get one. I was thrilled to be able to give HER something!!)

I slept on the sleeper sofa in a studio. It was fine. I was there 4 nights and exhausted so I didn't have any issues with being comfortable. I'm only 5'2" so that may have helped.
There are NO Beach Club pins for sale at Marketplace, I was sad about that.

ToT race was hot and humid. Really hot and humid. Many people didn't know to slow down in the heat and the medics were working overtime. The race was well-organized but the course was disappointing. There were no characters at the start or finish and fewer than expected on the course. I ran with friends and had a blast but might choose W&D next year instead. Weather should be better in November and I've heard the course is better. There were plenty of children running the 10 miler! I was happy with my performance although my goals were modest.

I have a BB for 35% at BC this month that we booked in Jan 2012 as well. (Sadly, we are canceling.)

Hi

I am staying at The Beach Club for the first time with my Mum, Sister, Aunt and Cousin for a week from 4th November

I am from the UK and hoping to do some Christmas shopping whilst we are there

I would like to purchase a couple of Kindles from Amazon.com to be delivered for our arrival, from looking at the info on the front page (fantastic job by the way!

) it would appear I need to make sure my delivery arrives by USPS? Does anyone know if a kindle will be delivered that way? I can't tell from looking at their website.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

We're packing up to move from BC to AKL. We had such a magical time at BC: the resort is beautiful, the CM were amazing and, of course, the location totally rocks! I'll post more when I get home, but I will tell you that we will definitely be back at BC again!

I'm booked in a 2 bedroom BC villa for the week of Nov. 12-16. We booked this when we thought 4 people were coming. Now it looks like there will just be two of us so I was looking on the site to see what else was available that I could change to (1 BR villa, regular BC room, etc).

There is nothing available in ANY Deluxe or Moderate that week! Any! Is that possible? It's not Thanksgiving week, it's supposed to be a fairly slow week according to the crowd calendar.

It just doesn't seem possible that every room in every Deluxe and Moderate is full that week. And we're only staying Mon thru Thurs night so there's not even a weekend night in there.

I'm just flabbergasted. Is there a convention going on?

Can anyone check the site for me and see if I'm crazy?

Yes, that's what I was told too when I tried to amend my booking! What is going on?

Hi there, I have a quick question about room requests.

We have booked for next August, when I assume the hotel will be full. I am adding a request for a full balcony to my booking and appreciate that it is just a request. We are flying into Orlando a few days before our BC stay starts, so can check in early. Would checking-in early make it any more likely for us to get our room request?
