New menu at 50's PTC? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Can anyone tell me what's on the new menu at 50's PTC? I recently read a dining report where (I think) someone ordered a goat cheese app & now I can't find it. Plus, I'm wondering what other changes have been made. We're eating there next weekend, but I'm too impatient to wait until then to find out.

It looks like the menu on Disney's site is the new one and the changes are pretty minor - a new herbed cheese app, the onion rings are no longer 'for two', the pork lion is now a pork chop, and the relatives getting credit for various dishes have been rearranged so that "Dad's meatloaf" is now "Cousin Ann's meatloaf.

Thanks for your help! When did they finally update the Disney site? I swear I checked it last night (and possibly everyday for the last week, lol) & it was still the old menu. Oh, it looks like they've updated the new menu for Sci-Fi too.

I don't know... I only checked because I saw Cheshire Figment's post about the cheese appetizer and wanted to read a full description. I'm just glad to see none of my favorites have disappeared... The sampler platter there is almost too good to be true, plenty for me to share with my girls, and I'd miss it if ever they take it away. Having just a few bites of all three house specialties is perfect for us!

I'm so happy about the change to the onion rings. It might be a small change but every time we go the I want to get the onion rings but DH doesn't like them. Of course we're not going next trip.

I checked out the menu on Disney's dining site, and saw nothing of the things you mentioned; i.e., cheese app., pork chop, etc. I also checked the link you provided for the "new" menu, which is the same as Disney's.

I checked out the links and I see the changes. The cheese app is called Fried Herb and Garlic cheese and the other changes on the new menu are there as well.

Try opening the new menu link, then once you have it open hold down CTRL and press F5. It sounds like your computer is loading a cached version of the file rather than getting the few version from Disney's site.

I just wanted to chime in here, from what I understand it'll be the same cheese app from a few years ago which had Boursin cheese, and that is not a goat cheese. It's cows milk. Just in case any allergy folks stumble across this.

We ate there this week. My hubby had mahi mahi and loved it I believe that is new. Pics to come soon!
