Taxi Prices Within Disney?
Hi, everyone! I've always relied on disney transportation to get me everywhere, and now I'm wondering how much taxis cost within disney world. For example, if I want to go from the Boardwalk to AKL, does anyone know roughly how much it would cost? thanks in advance

not sure about your example but we were there last week and took several taxis. We stayed at the new Art of Animation and took taxi's to the Polynesian, Contemporary, and Grand Floridan which were all $15-$20 each way with 4 people.

Go to the Transportation Board.
Open the Other Popular Transportation Links "sticky". Look for the link that says taxi fare estimator - open that page and voila!

Current taxi fare in the Orlando area is $2.40 for the first 1/4 mile and then 60¢ for each additional 1/4 mile (or 80 seconds of waiting time). In addition, there is a $0.50 surcharge on all rides (except the surcharge is $1.00 to or from the airport).
I have seen a recent report that this is the 5th highest taxi fare in the country.
