I don't normally put too much up and then only if we are actually going tobe in to receive the trick or treaters!
This year while in Walmart I splashed out and got an orange pumpkin door hanging thing for 99c!! I also have a ceramic pumpkin that you put a candle in and place by the front door. Thats as far as I go with the deccies and never put them up inside the house.

For some reason we can never tell how many trick or treaters we are going to get, some years we have loads of them and other years we have had 1 or 2 of them..

only 8 weeks before my Christmas ones go up and thats another matter entirely....

Hi Tinks
Yes we did, there was a group of 8 tents so we did fancy dress, trick or treat and halloween pumpkin carving, it was great. We're going again this year. One of our group has a fire pit made from an old washing machine drum, so we gathered around that for hot chocolate (with a dash of rum for the adults), toasted marshmallows and some sparklers.

I've also got a funky set of Musical Pumpkin lights that I brought from work last year when they were reduced. A bargain at 98p!

We will not sure who yet I got my stencils from

http://family.go.com/disney/pkg-disn...kin-templates/

I cut the stencil out then draw it on to to the pumpkin find easier then having to stick the stencil to the pumpkin.

Have to say we go a bit mad in our porch as we live on a street with loads of kids, can't wait to get decorating, will put some pics on when I've decorated this year, love the Disney pumpkin stencils - might have a go this year as it's half term

Nearly Christmas though
