Vacation Strategy Confirmation Email Timeline

Just called WBC...double checked our reservation. They have our name on the reservation, and I put in our tower request. I asked for Tower 6, lake view, higher floor. I cant wait to get on the road! Two weeks from tomorrow

Every time I call it goes to voicemail. They call back but I'm not always able to grab my phone. I got the email with the link to pay and the amount was for only 8 nights, not for 14. I paid for the first 8 nights immediately. I'm not paying for the last 6 until I get confirmation of the reservation.

I called WBC and they have us checking out on the 21st and not the 27th. VS says the reservation is secured but no one has confirmation of it. We leave a week from today.

Goodness...that sounds like a mess. VS should be getting on the phone and take care of this for you. Hopefully it will get resolved ASAP

Just seeing this info about VS, VU, and 5 star. I'm traveling to Orlando in less than 30 days to be exact I'm arriving on Halloween. Is it too late for me to use one of these places to get reservations at BC? I wish I would have seen this a long time ago. I've been waiting for a deal thru Wyndham currently I'm booked at Sheraton vistana resort for 156/night in a 2 bdrm but we really want to stay at BC. I've emailed them all to see if anyone can give me a quote. Just worried its too last minute...

I would try calling VS directly. Usually when I email them it takes a few days for me to get a response. When I have called, I get answers immediatly They have been very friendly and nice to work with.

Thanks. I called VS and they don't have anything. 5 star has 3 days and I'm still waiting for the other from ken. Ugh I wish I would have seen this in August. The price per night online non refundable is 242/night and I can't really justify paying that when I'm paying 156/nite at Sheraton. I'm pretty mad at myself for not researching this more earlier. Wyndham has deals going just none that appy to BC

Ken was able to get me a reservation so we will be staying at WBC after all I will have 3 reservations but ken says they will just leave me in 1 room once he combines them together for me. So excited. Now i need to start looking at the bldgs so I can see where I may want to request. Thanks to u all for posting this thread. I got a great deal and am able to stay T the resort I wanted

We received our confirmation/final payment email yesterday and we leave on December 1st. So that was 53 days out.

Congrats DisLis! I called WBC to verify our reservation. We were in the system, and I was able to put in our room request. Yay, it feels more real now!

Just updating. I finally talked with someone at VS. They are saying my reservation is secure, but I still have NO way of proving it. I haven't received confirmation for the last 6 nights. We apparently have 3 owners and 5 different confirmations and we've only received 2 of the 5. They did say our final night is booked through an owner who won't even assign our name to the reservation until 24 hours before the stay. That still leaves 5 nights completely unaccounted for.

I asked the guy from VS if he could send me an email stating this just so I would have record of SOMETHING for those final nights before I left considering the only things I have are a quote for 14 nights, a receipt from my deposit and then confirmation and receipt for 8 nights only. No email. And I've left another message today with no response.

The whole thing is making me so incredibly nervous. We leave Friday morning. I'm trying hard not to stress, but we're just not having a good experience with VS right now.
