Do they release more rooms when the general public offer comes out?

The dates are Jan 1 to 17 and Jan 21 to March 7.

This concern about rooms not being available by the time the offer is released to the general public- is the concern that there is a limited number of discounted rooms at each resort and the quota will be met or is the concern that resorts will fill period?

My concern was solely because we are traveling with another family. They have the Visa and were able to get the deal. We want adjoining rooms so I was afraid we wouldn't be able to find two rooms together if we had to wait for the public offer.

Why not book your package now and apply the discount on the 10th?

I hope not, our current package has us arriving January 19. Plus based on the details of this deal for 2 adults and 1 child at a value resort with the Deluxe upgrade, I wont save that much. Man am I bummed.

Thank you those dates work great for me. I am there till the 19th so if it can't extend no biggie it covers us for most days

I booked this online last year when it was avail to the general public so I hope I can do it again this year cause it costs me a fortune in long distance charges to wait on the phone.

Can someone please list again the codes again so I can write them down now I can't find them

MLK weekend is excluded and I think that's your arrival date, isn't it?

Our package was already booked. My understanding of promos is that only a certain number of rooms at each resort are allocated for the promo and once they're gone, they're gone. Just because we have a royal room at POR booked doesn't mean that there would be a discount available to apply to it, if all the allocated rooms were already spoken for. Sure, I could pay full price in order to stay with our friends, but I wanted to get the promo too!

I had this same thing happen. I called for the RO rate and then called later once I found out there was another offer. The price with the dining was crazy! I emailed my TA and she came back with a quote that was $300 less than what the CM on the phone said. For us it basically worked out to free dining. The last free dining deal was $1228 for 4 nights, 2 adults, 1 child, and 3-day base tickets. This deal came up $1270. So not bad. I say call again! Good luck!

I think that is right. I just asked this question in a thread too. I have had a standard room at POFQ since July but when I called at 11:00 am yesterday, I was told there were no standard rooms and had to bump to a garden view. So I don't think it makes any sense to go ahead and make a package ressie. It will not guarantee you a room. :-( I wish it had for us but now we are 200.00 over budget bc I couldn't get the standard room.

Other people have applied for the Disney Visa and used it right away to get this deal now. That may be an option for you.
