National and KLM code question

I registered free at the KLM site and found the partner code there and it has given me a decent rate for our minivan, (one of two vehicles we are renting), I was surprised when I noticed that the fees and taxes were all removed for this rate (or they are all included in the quote)? When I try National without the code, the fees show up....but when I use the code there are no fees.

To anyone who has used the KLM code....when you get to the counter, do the fees/taxes/concessions...reappear and give you a nasty sticker shock?

Thank you

There are lots of threads about this code. Google dis boards klm Many people have used and said they get an email with a balance but the balance is never charged. I am avoiding the code for my future trips unless I absolutely can't get a better rate with other discounts. Good luck

If the KLM code you're referring to is for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, be aware that many European rate quotes are inclusive of everything. Taxes and fees should be included in the rate quote. But it should say so somewhere.

I'd check out this one here:

It should help answer your questions, basically yes, everything is included.

I used it in August for a minivan and was not charged anything extra. All the taxes and fees were included.

Thank you for the link to the thread! It was exactly what I was looking for. I had searched several times but didn't find that thread.

Has anyone used the National KLM code and picked up a car/minivan from Disney's Car Care Center? Any problems? Thanks!
