Happy Birthday Mr. Janet!!!

How did the cake come out?

Oh, Oh, I hope you didn't put bacon in it.

The girls are not following along here - they are just getting the texts. They of course are mad that we are here without them - and that we are here for 12 days without them! But - they really do get to go alot - they've already been on two trips this year (a week for Spring break plus 2 weeks after school was out - and they don't know it yet, but they'll be back right before Christmas!) - so they know that they need to focus on school.

Tomorrow FB and the girls will be enjoying the food and wine festival!
Just make sure you get rid of one of your comments if the girls will eventually be looking at this report when you get back. I'll erase this one.

Ben loves to eat! He is truly obsessed with food and has a pretty mature palate. We have never been, but he would be in heaven at F&W!

Looking forward to seeing how the Flat Kids enjoy the offerings.

This is really fun! Flat Ben is really taking on a life of his own, so to speak!

I was surprised that he still has the same pin, especially considering that his first trip was to a pin-trading convention. But it is a cute pin.

Do your kids pin-trade?

The cake turned out great! No bacon in it, but it does contain a good dose of Guinness beer.

Love the new batch of pictures, especially the first one with the guitar.

YUM!!!

That looks really good!

The guitar picture was my favorite from this batch, too.

Wed Oct 4: Animal Kingdom

Kat and her DH roused the Flat Kids early for a breakfast full of character. I mean characters:

Um, Goofy? That's Flat Madalyn. Not a toothpick!

Goofy loved Flat Ben's shirt! When Ben first saw these pictures, he asked "Where is that shirt from?" You see, that is just his regular Flat Ben shirt, with a Goofy sticker applied to it. I thought it would be more appropriate for his travels.

Later on, there was more dining to be had. This is upstairs at Yak & Yeti:

Fantastic angle on the China shot! Love that pic.

I would also like to be there sampling the lobster. That looks good.

Flat Ben keeps that up at Food and Wine, he isn't going to be so flat anymore.

DK pin traded on the last trip a bit. She gets attached though and doesn't want to trade anymore pretty quickly. Not sure if she's going to do any trading this trip or not. If FB wants to trade his pin, I'm sure she'd help him out though.

Real Ben saw the food in these pictures and his eyes got wide!!! He said "Why haven't we ever been to Food & Wine?" Ben loves to eat and has very adventurous tastes. He would love F&W and if we could pair that with a Halloween Party, he (and I) would be in

Feel free to do what you like pin trading with FB.

Talk soon!!! I'll let you know when he is on the way. Tuesday is my goal! That should get him to you by the end of the week.

Looks like the flat kids had a great day at MK. Flying is always a bonus!

DK has been enjoying the adventures of FB as well and can't wait for him to arrive. She's excited to take him to IOA/US since no one's posted photos yet. Though she's a bit concerned about Bilge Rat Barges and Rip Saw Falls. I told her we'd get him a poncho.

Yes, it was a great day for them at the MK until the rain started up. It looks like the Flat Kids' adventures are coming to and end, KatinGA returns home today

I have two more photos to post from her and these may be my favorite of all!

But as we speak, FB is having fun with pixarmom and her family.

He looks forward to meeting your family later this week.

As I mentioned in my last response, these are two of my favorite photos of the Flat Kids' trip. They had a meet with my favorite Cast Member, Teena, Greeter at the Beach Club.

Teena seems like a lot of fun. Maybe we'll make it over there someday.

Did you figure out a costume for Flat Ben? DK is thinking we need to dress him up with felt like a paper doll. :rotflt2:

Flat Ben's trips would not be complete without a stop to see Teena.
