CRT Sword Question

We will be having lunch on my son's 5th birthday at CRT. I know that a sword is included for boys. However, I just realized that my younger son - who will be two months shy of his third birthday - won't get one, because he'll be eating off of our plate. Help! Can I buy him the same or a similar sword and stash it in my bag? He will be sad if his brother gets a sword and he doesn't. Thanks so much!

I bet they will give your younger son a sword. My SIL took my niece to CRT before she was 3 and I'm like 99% certain that they gave her a wand. Hopefully someone with recent experience will come along to share. Good luck!

Don't worry, he will get one! I would be more worried about stopping the sword fight that is likely to come next at your table!

He will get a sword. We ate at CRT with DD last year (she was one). She got a wand. She also got her own plate of food (french toast sticks) at no additional cost. We ate there for breakfast though not sure if the under 3 set get their own plate at lunch.

We were just there this past Friday for dinner and DS received a sword and a meal and he's only 2 1/2. Of note, we did have to ask our waiter about the meal because we were not offered it up front but I questioned since he was given one the day before at Akershus and they had no problem with bringing him anything. We did however only have the entree and not the appetizer or desert which is what we requested.

Last year, my son was 22 months and wasn't a paying guest at CRT. He received a sword and complimentary plate of buttered noodles. I think he maybe got dessert, too, but I can't remember. No child is excluded just because you don't have to pay for them.

Add my son to the list of 2 year-olds who got a sword. He got a wishing star too actually. He shared the bread they brought out and got some of each my and dd's appetizer, but he had his own plate of food. We had dinner, so he had some kind of pasta and his own drink. As long as you counted him in your ADR, which you do have to do, he will get the toy.

Heck, my DH, who at the time was 49, got a sword at CRT. My little one was about a year old and she got the wand..we did not pay for her. I don't think she ate anything there, honestly. But it was because she wasn't eating "real" food yet.
