Question about the refurbished Touches on Apple's site

I see that they have the 4th generation refurbished Touch listed for $149, but in the description, it says it originally came out in September, 2010.

Unless my brain is really not functioning this morning, I know for sure that I bought my 4th generation just last fall.. in fact I pre-ordered it since it was the first white one to come out and none of the stores had them yet.

So why would Apple's site be listing the white ones as coming out in September, 2010?

I'm planning on getting a 4th generation one for younger dd for Christmas, and would like to get the best price possible, which this seems like a great deal if it's the same one I have.

I don't think they came out with a new generation last year, just a new color, so the original release of the generation 4 was in 2010. The new ones (colored aluminum cases) are the 5th generations.

ahh, that's right... the 4th did come out in 2010, but it was just the white 4th that came out last year.. thanks for reminding me,
