Congratulations, and welcome! I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.

I totally understand!! I cried during rope drop at the Magic Kingdom when I was pregnant with DS, and I cried during rope drop for his first visit to MK. It is the BEST feeling to be there with your little one. I hope you have a magical time and can't wait to (hopefully) hear all about it!

Haha, glad I'm not the only one! I know it's going to be such a special time, even if it doesn't all go perfectly!
I really enjoyed reading your TRs - maybe I can be inspired to do my own one day, but I'm kind of an in-and-out DIS'er, so there might be far too many cliffhangers.

Hi all!

We are expecting baby #4 in late March. We have a DD10 DS5 and DD2. I have just gotten past all the morning sickness and feel great! Can't say that I've ever felt this good in a pregnancy before. God must know I have my others to keep me busy and don't have time to feel yucky. Lol

Aww, thank you!

I totally get being in and out, but maybe you'll at least come back here and tell us how many times you cried.

If you have any ADRs, here's the cutest idea I've read here: A couple dining with his or her parents (or maybe both sets) went to the restaurant early and asked to speak with a manager. They explained what was going on, and the manager got all excited and said not to worry and that he would take care of it. Well, throughout dinner they were waiting and waiting for something to happen and it never did. Then came dessert, and their waiter brought out a dessert they hadn't ordered with the words "It's A Boy" written on the plate in chocolate.

That was a gender reveal, but maybe they could do something similar with "Congratulations, Grandma and Grandpa!"
That's a cute idea! We're not sitting down at a TS restaurant with them until their last day. I would be able to wait that long to tell them, but my dad is an adrenaline junkie when it comes to roller coasters and I inherited the trait, so he would know something was up when I decline every fast ride for five days .

Feeling really emotional today. I have a (free!!) ultrasound today, and I was so excited, but I sent my MIL a picture to announce the pregnancy (of a Micky maternity shirt), and she responded with a brief "congratulations" and a few logistical questions via text message, and that was the end of the conversation. Since we talk on the phone frequently, it was pretty odd for her not to just call me. She's made it clear in the past she's not necessarily a fan of big families, so I guess she is struggling with this being number 5. I didn't really expect pixie dust and fireworks, but it was a bit worse than I expected, and harder emotionally than I anticipated. I suppose with #5 that is just part of it and I need to brace myself for the reactions of strangers, friends, and family. But I had hoped the people closest to us would show a bit more excitement.

Bleh. I don't understand why any child who is born as part of a happy union of two people is ever anything less than a completely joyous occasion. I guess that makes me bizarre.

To make things worse MIL is babysitting my older kids for me today, so I have to see her in a few hours, and I am really dreading it.

Feel like a good pregnant cry....

I'm so sorry to hear that! I'm worried about the same thing - my MIL knows about our infertility issues, so she'll be happy for us, but my FIL is very much a "Two is enough" type of personality, so I'm not expecting much from him. I'm from a family of 3 - 3 is not unheard of (and we've always talked about 3, potentially 4) but I know we'll probably get a forced smile - and that would be the good reaction.

I completely understand where you are coming from. We too are pregnant with baby #5, 12 weeks along, and I am experiencing the exact same thing. We have not told my in laws yet as I know they will not be thrilled as they have tried to convince my husband to have a vesectomy after the 3rd and have made it clear they think we have enough children. I am also experiencing it on my side of the family too, when i told my mom she wasn't overly excited and asked, "so is this the last" and I haven't told my sister as she has tried to get pregnant for 3 years now with no luck. I have always wanted a big family and just wish someone would share in the excitement of this wonderful blessing GOD has given us.

Aw, how sad for someone to be negative about a third child! I think it is really hard for my MIL to understand where I am coming from because she stopped at three despite wanting more children because she felt it was the "right" thing to do with her husband being in ministry (like mine is), and finances being tight. I try to remember where she is coming from, but it can be difficult.

I don't understand people's lack of excitement either It makes me especially sad because when I told my dh he told me "no one" would be excited for us, and I think deep down he was referring to his parents. And he wasn't wrong My sister was the first person I told, and thankfully she was very excited for me, and when yesterday was so hard, her husband told her to tell me I have a cheerleading team of eight in their house I told my mom yesterday, and her reaction was amazingly positive, which it hasn't always been. I was so thankful, because another negative reaction yesterday would have been really hard to process. Hugs for you! Babies are a blessing! Something my sister told me that I hung onto yesterday is that I'm not having these babies to please anyone else, and I shouldn't let anyone else steal my joy. Easier said then done sometimes, but I'm going to do my best!

I'm joining in! DH and I just found out we're expecting. I'm 5 wks and ill be about 10wks when we go to DW for our son's 3rd birthday! =) our first was planned, this one was a huge surprise, but we're so happy. I'm kinda sad that I won't get to enjoy my first ever trip to dw, but its worth it! Don't really have any symptoms besides my breast hurting, and having to pee a lot. Hope everyone's having a great pregnancy!

I'm sorry for those of you who are getting some negative reactions. Babies are such a blessing and a joy, and unless a couple is completely irresponsible -- which I doubt any of you are -- I can't imagine why someone wouldn't be overjoyed about a pregnancy.

How fun! I wouldn't mind having time to myself to shop, too!

Congratulations!!!

You will still get to enjoy your trip -- sure, there are some attractions you probably shouldn't do, but for me half the fun of a Disney trip is just being there.

I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly!

Hi everyone! I've poked around on this board awhile ago, and wouldn't you know it? I have reason to participate now!

I'm 13 weeks pregnant at this point, due April 18th. DH have been doing the Expedition Everest 5K Challenge the past few years, and he's heartbroken that we'll have to skip it (plus our usual Disney trip) next year. However, we're already daydreaming about baby's first trip to WDW.

I will now be reading your PTR with a whole new perspective. (Don't worry, I won't say anything, though.)
