Taking my girlfriend to Disneyland for her birthday; best place to watch the sunset?
Hi guys, first time posting here.
I've only been to Disneyland twice before, and I've never looked for a good place to watch the sunset. We watch the sunset together whenever possible, and I want to watch it with her at Disneyland. Do you Disneyland veterans have any locations in mind that are romantic and scenic? Thanks guys

Have you considered the Carsland neon lighting ceremony at sunset?

Of course, the best sunset at the DLR would be in Condor Flats, riding on Soarin' Over California. Just as you fly over the surfers catching their last wave you can hold hands and maybe sneak a kiss. The "Best" sunset in the park, in my humble opinion.

Disneyland is great, but does seem pretty limited as far as sunset-viewing goes. Although I can't honestly say I've ever paid much attention.
 If you have park hoppers, perhaps getting on the Sun Wheel over in California Adventure? It's the only place I can think of where you can be up high for more than just a few seconds.

The sunset on Paradise Bay/Paradise Pier area is definitely a great place.

What about getting a seat on a bench up on the main street station railroad or even around the flag pole and watching MS as the sun sets and MS begins to light up? I think that could be a pretty spectacular view. My brother and I were leaving the park around sunset last December and ended up walking down MS just as everything lit up and it was pretty amazing.

If weather is nice, I vote for sunset drinks in DCA either on the second floor outdoor terrace at the Carthay Circle Theatre restaurant or at the Cove Bar overlooking Paradise Pier.

I like to watch the park shift colors in the setting sun from the top of Tarzan's Treehouse.
