Still trying to figure out how I got talked into this...
Sometime over the course of this past weekend, our Christmas trip to see the new Fantasyland turned into a shopping spree to a local furniture store and a brand new living room suite. How on Earth did I let that happen?
 Yeah, the furniture was getting pretty ratty, I'll agree. But come on! It was a Christmas trip to see the new Fantasyland!  Couldn't we just sit on the floor or something when we have company?  If nothing else, I made sure we bought some DVC furniture. The fold-out couch we bought is an American Leather -- as used by DVC. The one we're replacing was an old death trap of a fold-out with horrible shot springs and an awful bar in your back -- also as used by DVC at some resorts.

Awwww....sorry you got tricked! LOL Seriously, the furniture seems to have been needed and you will get more use out of it. Besides there's always next Christmastime, right? I would be sad too but happy to get rid of a "death trap" as you said.

I understand! Our furniture is at the point where it's actually embarrassing when we have company.....hmmm, maybe next year we'll give up a trip to replace it.

Same thing happened to me. Visited a furniture store to look for a bedroom set for my daughter and we came home with the bedroom set, master bedroom set, dining table and benches, and a sectional. The discounts were good though.

A couple of years ago, my DH and I went shopping for a new pair of slacks for him, but came home with a convertible Mustang for me.
