My family just returned from a trip to Disney and I am happy to report that we had a wonderful stay at the VWL. We stayed in a dedicated two-bedroom on the fifth floor, room 5549. The room was clean and in very good shape. We paid for daily housekeeping and the service was great. We also really enjoyed the feel of the entire resort, the pool, and the boat ride to MK. Just thought I would share our experience for others who are considering a stay at this resort.

That's great to know! The villa pool with the tiny bubbling springs is my favorite villa pool, & the hot tub has the most perfect surroundings to relax in. Our next VWL stay isn't until April, but we often visit WL/VWL because we love just being there!

Often here, the DVC building is pooh-poohed because it's not the WL's lobby, but I love it for its nooks & crannies, fireplaces, rocking chairs, carved animals, hidden Mickey and board games out to enjoy.

DisOwl...nice of you to take the time to post about a positive experience you had at a DVC resort. So often it is just the negative experiences that people report leaving many with the impression that DVC is a bad experience waiting to happen.

So glad that you enjoyed one of our home resorts, and our favorite place at WDW. It is a nice break from the hectic parks, isn't it? Thanks for posting.

We stayed at VWL this past Spring and absolutely loved it. In fact, we recently purchased a small contract at VWL so I am thrilled to know we will be back again one day. Unfortunately (well, there could be worse things I know!) I let my kids pick where we go next year and they chose BCV. I personally would have chosen VWL - such a quiet and relaxing resort. VWL and AKV are my 2 favorites

It's our home, and we love it. The quiet after a day in the parks, the smaller nature of the resort, the boat horn in the evening, Artist Point, the beach, the trails, and so much more. Glad to hear you had a great time!
