Parks on 10/31

Do any of the parks do anything special on Halloween? Or is it just another day in paradise?

Nope, not really. Just MNSSHP at MK, and that's the same as any other MNSSHP.

Oh, I almost forgot. Duffy (at Epcot) will be in his pumpkin costume!

Camp Minnie Mickey at AK had some Trick or Treating in the past, but that was the only park/area that had anything other than MNSSHP at MK

There hasn't been any special events that I've witnessed and we've spent the last 3 Halloween's there.

Do any of the resorts have any Halloween activities on that day?
Is Fort Wilderness campgrounds decorated like they do for Christmas?
How about any trick or treating?

This is our first time for Halloween.

Maybe if you leave some chocolate under your pillow the Tag Fairy will visit you!
In the second grade I looked like a mini senior citizen!

Is Fort Wilderness campgrounds decorated like they do for Christmas? Again, a lot of the campers decorate and hand out candy, but I think it is frowned on for non Fort guests to Trick or Treat.
How about any trick or treating? Not that I know of. DTD used to have ToTing, but they stopped that last year or the year before.

There is a fun thing open to ALL WDW guests- at Fort Wilderness, there is a FREE nightly campfire followed by a movie showing. In October, the movies are Halloween themed (all Disney, of course). The campfire starts every evening just after dusk- I believe around 6:30-7?? There are 2 big fire pits and s'more kits available to purchase (other snacks, too). A cowboy CM leads a fun singalong and Chip & Dale show up to meet the kids and pose for pictures. Then the first movie starts on the big outdoor screen.

Fort Wilderness also has wagon and carriage rides- they take off from Pioneer Hall near the Hoop Dee Do theater. Wagon rides are around $5-8 per person, and the carriages cost around $35-50, I think.

Yes, no more Halloween themed rides. But they still offer the "everyday" carriage and wagon rides.
