HOHO Buses NYC

Anyone recommend a good company that does the 'Hop on Hop Off' buses around Manhatten. Have been dozens of times and never done the buses..taking some people that haven't been and thinking they might enjoy and good way to see things...

Thanks!

I am not a fan of the HOHO buses as you spend more time sitting in Manhattan's traffic than doing any real sightseeing, breathing car exhaust and bus fumes. However, we are BIG fans of the twilight bus tour that Grey Line runs. You get on the bus just before sunset and it takes you all through Manhattan, over the bridge to Brooklyn, and back, as the sun sets and the lights of the city come up. The view from Brooklyn is spectacular! You can't HOHO, as this is a narrated evening tour without stops, but if you are brave enough to sit outside on the open top of the bus, it's an incredible experience- you are up in the lights of Times Square and the rest of NYC! We have only done the Grey Line tour... not sure what other companies do this- but DD and I have done this 3 times, we enjoyed it so much (different years with different companions).
