Captain's Grille breakfast buffet... Yay or nay?
I love breakfast and it looks like CG has lots of choices that I would like (and we're staying at BWV so it would be convenient)... older reviews that I've seen haven't been that great. Has anyone been recently and can comment on it?
Does anyone know the price of the kids' buffet? My youngest is 3 and we will be lucky if he eats 2 strawberries... would hate to pay $15 for that. Thanks for any comments! |

Last year when we were at BWV I too was going to go to CG for breakfast, but my DD who used to work at CG told me not to. She said it is a good breakfast, but a buffet you can get anywhere at disney. She recommended we go to Kouzzina on the boardwalk. It was a great choice for us.

You can order off the a la cart menu for your dd. I don't believe everyone has to get the buffet. Yes the food is pretty similar to others, but Captains Grille generally gets good reviews and is much cheaper since there are no characters.

It's the best breakfast buffet at Disney. No characters, but the price will be a lot cheaper to reflect that. It's never really crowded. It's always a must for us. I think the buffet for kids is $8.99.

Had the buffet a few weeks ago it was very good! I wouldn't go out my way for it but if your staying in the Epcot area or going to Epcot it's a great breakfast option!!

Thanks for all of the replies! We always eat breakfast in the room since I'm the only one who really eats breakfast. I hated to waste the money for them to eat so little, but sounds like it'll overall be worth it. Maybe we will save it for our pool day when we can go later in the morning and it'll be a brunch. Thanks again for your thoughts!
