I found where the entry whistle comes from!!! I was watching Song Of The South and heard it and I just knew that sound anywhere because it's my text message sound so I thought I got a text

IIRC, that's the same whistle the parrot does in the foyer of Pirates of the Caribbean as well.

That's so funny, because just the other day I noticed that a new co-worker's text alert was very, very similar to the whistle of the ticket scanners. I pointed it out to her, but she said she'd just picked it because she liked the sound. She had no idea it was Disney-related.

I told my DF about it, though, and she found it and downloaded it the same night! It makes her so happy to get a text message now!
