Best spot for Christmas pics
Taking my kids, 5, 2, and 1, in early December. Staying at Poly, pre-ordering the regular photopass CD but not doing a portrait session in addition, not going to the Christmas party, and have matching dressy Mickey/Minnie Christmas outfits for them to wear.
Where can we get that "perfect" Disney Christmas shot? Can be just me taking the pic, or can be a photopass location. I know a HUGE Christmasy background doesn't make for a great pic because then you barely see the kids -- but a closeup of the kids doesn't leave a lot of room for background. Where can I get a good balance -- a gorgeous shot of the kids, with a background that says, WE ARE AT DISNEYWORLD FOR CHRISTMAS!!! )

The castle is so pretty all lit up for the holidays. This is a Photopass pic taken as the park was closing after MVMCP, so we all look a little wiped out; my kids had ridden Space Mountain with their cousins about a dozen times in the hour before this, but you get the idea . . . .
![]() Main St. also has lots of great decorations. And the lobby of the GF has fabulous decorations that are particularly well-suited to young kids. This ginormous tree, for instance . . . ![]() And life-size gingerbread houses that would be perfect for a kids' photo, but I can't seem to find a picture of those at the moment. IIRC, the gingerbread houses have Mickey & Minnie details so you'd still have a Disney feel to it. Have fun!!!

This is the spot I'd suggest - in Liberty Square.

If you are going to take the picture you can go to Sunset Point on the Poly beach. You can get the castle in the background. I got married there and it made for great photos. I cant help you with Photopass, never had good luck with them.
