I really enjoyed the Family Suite. It is a little cheaper to get the two rooms, however, the interior hallways were really nice and the layout of the room was great. Not to mention how nice AoA is with the covered bus stops and awesome pools.

I had the same question. This is what I found (rack rates for March):

$270- 2 rooms at All Star Sports
$309- 1 family suite at ASM
$359- 1 family suite at AoA
D'oh! You are so right! After looking at my old notes from when I was trying to decide between the 2 resorts, I must've been remembering my numbers backwards. I guess that the difference in price between 2 rooms at POP and 1 suite at AoA wasn't big enough to scare me off and I even thought that I was getting a bargain!

To us, the extra amenities are definitely worth the upgrade to a family suite...even with a price increase.

We recently stayed in the Finding Nemo suites and loved them! I think it is definitely worth it. Having the microwave was really nice and helpful. I liked that when I was getting ready the little ones could sit in a living room to watch TV/play rather than on the beds (which of course invites on jumping them). The table was nice - and the table murphy bed was comfortable. The kids loved the picture of Marlin and Nemo sleeping above the table so much. Plus, it was easy to see them from our bedroom. Having a bedroom/living room was easier for us to get ready. During the day, there felt like a lot more space than 2 connecting rooms. At night, it was fine having the beds out (from the couch/murphy table). Plus the suites were so cozy and comfortable.

Just to note, you are comparing 2 standard rooms at the Sports to a Family Suite at the Music. Family Suites are all in the preferred buildings. So to make it a more apples to apples comparison it would be $302 for 2 preferred rooms and $309 for the Family Suite.
