Can you rent golf cart at FW for a few hours?
Or does it have to be for a full day?

This info may be outdated, but it was always by the day or week. Around $63 (inclucing tax) for a day.
That may have changed.

I just reserved ours for our trip. You have to rent it by the day or week. Hope this helps.

We rented a cart in 2010 during our stay at BLT for a few hours. It was a non-park day and we were looking for different to do and it was too cold to go swimming. They would not rent it per hour but per day which we paid about $60. We used it for about 4 hrs, but I will have to say it was really fun driving around Fort Wilderness and seeing the different campsites.

Minimum rental is one day but you can just use it for a couple hours. We did that during a Christmas trip so we could see all the decorations. Cost about the same as a sleigh ride but you see so much more. Definitely worth it.
Add in dinner at Trail's End, see the sing-along at the campfire before the movie and finish up with the Electrical Water Pageant at 9:45 in between looping and you have a great evening/night at the Fort! |
