AP hotel discounts - The DIS Discussion Forums

Any ideas how far in advance disney publish the hotel discount offers for AP members? I wanted to see if there were any offers for May 2013.

Typically the AP discounts come a couple of months ahead of the discount dates. For instance, I think they released the discounts for October to December about a month ago. So you won't hear anything about May until sometime in late winter.

The last round was released fairly late, as Missyrose said. They were released on Aug 28th for 9/30-12/24. So late winter at best, I'd guess it wil be March/April til they release May.

You have to check often. I missed the AP discounted room rate date by about 3-4 days and the POR rooms were already sold out at the discounted price.

And the discount won't always cover all resorts/room types/views on all days during the discount period. For instance, last year I did CR CL for one night and then four nights in a CR lake view room. That was what the discount covered.

I see. Thank you. Fair enough if we are getting a discount. If the flights are booked I cant see Disney not having any rooms anywhere even if I leave it. We dont mond where we stay we just like to be within WDW. We usually stay at SSR but have used all our dvc points for next year! Might be a fun lucky dip!
