I hate him too! And yes, the salt has been a lifesaver..... Today is Day 16 and the first day I have not treated it. STill some breakouts but not itchy and no new patches so I do think I"m on the mend.... But I am SOOOOO bruised all over from scratching. I mean, seriously bruised. So between that and the welts, I look like some crazy Halloween creature!!!

In Cozumel the all inclusive look AWESOME! Was the taxi $25 each?

You had a great day in Cozumel! DH and I went there on a Cruise for our HM and it was a really nice island. Glad Mr Sancho's wasn't too crowded.

It was $5pp each way and there were 5 of us in the van. And because I prepurchased the Mr Sanchos tickets, we saved $5pp that way, so I figure we rode "free" one way. That's my Disney math.....

I did like Cozumel. When we go this year, we have no plans, may just wing it when we get there and hop a taxi, or just hang out at the port.....

When we got back on the ship after a full day of all inclusive eats and drinks in Cozumel, let's just say, I was ready for bed. But, noooooo!

Jeff told me to "Put the plow in the ground" and keep on going....

OK, so here we go.

It was pirate night, so you know what that means....

AARRGGHH!!!!



Time to get some pirate grub and of course, time for pirate bandannas....



Something that they did differently this cruise, from last year, was to bring out big trays of "special" drinks for kids each night. Then they got to guess what was in each one.... Ally is really trying to figure it out....



Tori has some food allergies and it was great to see how they took time every night to discuss the menu with Tammi....



Ally started with the Jerk Chicken Salad
jerk seasoned chicken strip over fresh crispy greens with a citrus dressing and plantain chips



Someone ordered the The Buccaneer’s Sun Ripened Pineapple
Fresh Island Pineapple with a Coconut covered Banana and Orange Glaze



And I got the Blackbeard’s Jumbo Crab Cake
With a fruit Salsa and Honey-Lime Tropical Coleslaw



I think Jeff tried the Chilled to the bone Honeydew Melon and Watermelon Soup



Ally ordered the Castaway Chicken Breast
Rubbed with Pirate Island Spice, Rice and Beans and Fried Okra on rich Spiced Glaze



I ordered the Treasure-of-the-Seas Grilled Shrimp and Seared Scallops
served on strings of pasta and fresh creamy tomato sauce



And Jeff ordered the Jack Sparrow’s Barbecue Marinated Beef Short Ribs
Rubbed beef short ribs with tamarind-barbecue sauce served with onion red bliss mashed potatoes and plantain chip



And you know what else happens on pirate night!

We dance!







For dessert Jeff ordered Walk the Triple Layered Chocolate Gangplank Cake
And fall into a rich Chocolate Sauce



And someone ordered the Pirates of the Caribbean's Sweet Temptations
A trio of Shiver-me-Timbers white chocolate cheesecake , rum barbossa, walk the triple layered chocolate gangplank cake



We hadn't seen these little buggers the whole cruise and Ally was VERY upset they were not at breakfast, so of course we just HAD to stop and see them!





And then just who did I have to see? Oh, you know......



Let's just say that Ally was NOT happy with me after seeing me and Capt Jack together.....





Next thing you know, we are walking along, just minding our own business when this WENCH swings by and grabs Ally's beads right off her neck! Darn pirates!!!!



Now the one nice thing about early dining is that it's much easier to find a good spot for Pirate Party..... Last year we were about 10 rows deep and had a tough time seeing much. This year was nicer, we just headed up on deck to relax before the party started.....



But I was getting REALLY tired....

Did I mention the all-inclusive drinks all day long????

Tammi and I were about to fall over, so thought maybe a drink would help us.....

Jeff: Put the plow in the ground, ladies!!! We still have a party to attend!

Hmmmm, maybe something light.....





I think this will do.

So we sipped our drinks.... one after the other.... and yes, there were several. Just keeping the plow in the ground!!!!!

That was when I fell overboard... Just kidding!

But I think that might have been a good thing.

Tony, you are right! We could have plowed the whole field this night. It was a very LOOOOOONG night!

We were up on deck 10 looking down on the action, and the girls were front and center for the pirate party....



Looks like they needed to keep the plow in the ground, too. It had been a long day for everyone....



Still plowing.....



It quickly filled up below and we were ready to GOOOOO!



Hey look! It's the wench that stole Ally's beads!!!







After all those bad pirates, here comes Mickey to save the day! This is my FAVORITE part of pirate party! I jump up and down and clap and cheer just like a kid! I love it! Or maybe it was just all day in Cozumel catching up with me....





Now usually, this is when the fireworks start.... but they didn't. There was a "technical malfunction."

So we danced some more!!!







Including Darren McBlarneystone. Breakin it down! He was REALLY moving!!!!



And then it was time for the only fireworks at sea!!!!







We saw McBlarneystone right after the party and Jeff just looked at him and clapped. Poor McBlarneystone said, "Not too shabby for an old man, huh?"



We stopped and grabbed some munchies and snuggled up to watch all of 5 minutes of POTC while we ate....







Just a "little" snack.....



Soon it was time for the best sight of the day.....



But we still had to wait up for Ally, the pirate party animal. That child NEVER came in before midnight!!!!

Very proud of you and all that farm labor! I personally love it when you put the plow in the ground- lol....

Maybe you already said, but I missed it. What is that chocolate looking drink that keeps showing up? Did it have Kahlua in it?

Now I can't wait for the next instalment; I'm wondering if you had a sore head the next morning? Sometimes you can get a really bad headache when you have been ploughing all day under a hot sun.

They were chocolate martinis.... not in martini glasses, but yes, there was kahlua, and chocolate, and other stuff that kept my eyes WIDE open all night long! No headache the next day and I was a little surprised actually..... But we didn't see Tammi until sometime after lunch. In fact, I have a video that Jeff took of us singing and dancing to Pirate party , but I wouldn't dare show it. Tammi would have my butt in a sling!!! It was pretty entertaining and I'm sure it explains just how hard we "plowed" all night long!!!

Wow, I think I've been off the DIS boards even longer than you! Glad I didn't miss a whole lot!

The stop at Cozumel looks great! I love the pay one price for all day kind of excursions! You know exactly how much you're on the hook for! We did an all-inclusive 2 years ago south of Playa Del Carmen, and they had a bar with those rope swings, right on the beach. AHH... swinging and drinking cocktails at 10 AM!

Hope your poison ivy is better finally! I've never had it (fingers crossed) so no 2 cents from me on cures!

When we were on the Magic last year, our dinner server said that during the day she works in the food office, making sure that the meals for the day are OK for all those with special needs (allergies, kosher, diabetic, etc...) Most other servers we would see at breakfast or lunch. It's amazing how many people they have watching out for those special needs. But I guess they really have to be careful, as an allergic reaction far from shore could be super dangerous!

LOVE LOVE LOVE hearing all about your trip! Hope I can talk the hubs into lots more cruises after we go on ours in January, ecspecially while the Magic is in Galveston, it's soooo much closer for us to drive there!
