5 Days at Poly, 6 days at WL or 7 days at POR??? - Page 2 - The DIS Discussion Forums

I absolutely love the Poly, but my vote goes to spending more days at WDW!

I say 7 days POR.

Or if you want a different resort CSR is great. We stayed 3 times in a row at POR then switched to CSR this last Dec trip & loved it so much we booked bounceback there for this Dec

WL is beautiful. We went there on our last trip to eat & I loved it. We always eat at the Poly & I like to visit this resort but can't see that it worth that much more $ at all.

7 days at POR for sure. We just did 8 days and loved every second of it.

I didn't read anyone's post.. but here is my opinion.. It sounds like you've been to Disney many times and assuming you've been in the parks many times as well. I would opt for Polynesian since you have been eyeing this resort for awhile. Your stay may be shorter.. but you've been to Disney many times and you probably go every year or other year or two.

If you've only been to Disney once or twice, and doesn't go very often, then I would opt for the seven days at POR. I'd rather spend more time with Mickey if I don't often go to Disney.

I've already given my opinion but I just have to bring up something about every vacation I've taken. You know that feeling you get when you first get there and you've got the whole vacation ahead of you!!!

Then you come to the middle of the trip and you're still happy that you have some time but you know the end is near.

Then you get to the last day or 2 and you're vacation seems over.

<---- this is where I would be after 2/3 nights at the poly.

<------this is where I would be after 2/3 nights at PoR.

Agreed. Longer stay trumps everything, IMO.
