Whispering Canyon, new menu's. BIG dinner change...

No more "ala cart" for dinner. You choose amoung the menu items. The price is $32.99pp/adult.

There is no way I'd spend $33 for that menu. How disapointing.

I was so excited to try WCC on our first visit in January. Now it looks like we are going to cancel. There isn't even enough choices to pick from! No kids menu?? My son isn't going to eat that!

Anyone have a suggestion for a good table service meal (not in a park)!?!?

Yes...there is a kids menu. But I don't get the new menu. Looks like all it's designed to do is suck more money out of guest. A family of four that isn't ordering off the kids menu at all realistically can't get out of there without spending at least $170 with tip. Wow

I just told a friend of mine about the change b/c his family loves it and has reservations there for February, but I don't think he's going to be happy about the changes. I know the couple they are going with will not like the food there now, so I think they will end up canceling as well.

As for me and my family, it's not on my list to do now in May.

Wait a minute, no more corn bread. That is the main reason by husband wants to go there. Hmmmmmm Maybe now I can change it to Ohanas where I really wanted to go.

They'd like vegetarians to pay $33 for quinoa cakes? And that's the only option besides two appetizers? AND they only "may" be available?

Do they still have the all you can eat skillet as an option for both lunch and dinner? I was confused by the new menu, plus I have never been there, but we were planning on going for lunch on our first trip in August. Also do they still have the bottomless milkshakes? Thanks.

According to the servers who were posting on the other thread they do NOT charge $33 for the quinoa cakes.

There is no more skillet.

No all you can eat option at lunch. Lunch is entirely a la carte.

Dinner has an a la carte children's menu, but the only other option is the all you can eat "platter" served family style. This is NOT the same thing as the skillet they were previously serving. Some of the side items are the same, but it appears the proteins are all different.

They do still have the bottomless milkshakes, but in fewer flavors.

Wow, how disappointing! We ate here in June and really really enjoyed it. I'm so glad we got to try it because there is no way we would go with the new menu. I think it would be bad for a lot of families who don't like to eat the same thing. I can't believe for $33 they are telling me that everyone in my family has to 'agree' on 3 things. For that kind of money, I'd rather go somewhere where I can order a la carte.

Kona recently changed its menu as well - if you were counting on the old menu, you may wish to find the new one.
