College Presentation Worth It?
HI all,
My college presentation for the Disney Program is this week and I am wondering if it is worth going. I am not applying until Jan/Feb for Fall 2012, but I want to get my application earlier and the presentation for that semester usually isnt until after the applications have been up several weeks. I know you dont HAVE to attend a presentation like it used to be in the past. So I guess my question is, is it worth going? I would have to drive an hr and a half there and back. What kind of information do they give you? |

I don't think it's THAT worth it... your questions can usually be answered online looking at things like this board, blogs, the facebook group, etc. and it's always good to get your app in as early as possible.

it is a general overview of the programs at disneyland and walt disney world. they are only about an hour and don't go into great detail on anything. they kinda touch lightly on a topic and then move on. they want you to go to disneycollegeprogram.com to read details and apply.
Not worth the time/money investment you would need to make IMHO |

It is not that "worth it", but it does alert you to more information about your colleges personal co-op programs if they have any. It also lets your representative know you are interested which may or may not help with you chances of being accepted. Because they then email you and tell you to apply within two days of attending it. I do not believe it is worth that time investment though.
