Wonder Soundtrack - Song Question - The DIS Discussion Forums

My family and I were on the Wonder to Alaska in July and we've been trying to figure out some of the music they play in the passageways.

In particular, we're curious about an instrumental tune that played mostly during the late evenings. It might be in the sequence where they play Dances with Wolves to provide a majestic feeling along the Alaskan coast, but we think it's a Disney song because we heard it last week when visiting a Disney store.

Any ideas?

maybe it was from Brother Bear?? or one of the Pocohantas movies?

Try emailing DCL. I once requested the songlist I heard on a Lufthansa flight and their inflight entertainment supplier happily sent me a playlist.

If you email DCL, I hope you have better luck than I did. I emailed them to see if they could provide the playlist that played in Cabanas (Fantasy) at breakfast. According to DCL, they couldn't due to licensing agreements. Good luck!

Emailing shore side may not get you anywhere since the programming is done on the ships for each day.
On the Magic last month, we were told they are starting to use some of the songs from past DCL production shows, particularly from the Legend of the Ghost Ship on Pirate night.

OP - you can ask on one of the upcoming Wonder meets threads if anyone could talk to the CD to see what music they were playing on the AK cruises.

That's a pretty pathetic response. If you were asking for a CD copy that's one thing but to ask for a list is pretty harmless. Good thing you didn't sit there with a pen and paper and write everything down.
