Anyone ever decorate their hotel room window.
Im staying at the new Art of Animation and wanted to decorate my hotel room window with lights. Has anyone ever done this? If so how do you keep the lights up?

Yes we did at CBR with Christmas decorations last year. Used scotch tape around the window with lights.

I haven't done this myself, but I've heard of people using suction cups or those small, clear 3M hooks. (there are ones made for the christmas light wires that I use for home decorations).
Btw, have you checked out this thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1867638 lots of pictures of decorated windows

The lights sound cute but is it allowed?? I could see some firecode speaking against this. Especially since no one knows quality condition of lights people may bring ????

I've always decorated our window. Started out with a happy birthday banner, and has become more from there. Christmas lights, stockings, window clings, streamers, etc. My sons are now 21&17, and as soon as we get in the room they ask me where the decorations are at.

We do this as well, with some color changing light decorations (Mickey Ghost) we got at Walgreens and some window clings. We also have a set of rope lights, but we only use them when we're actually in the room. My husband doesn't like the idea of leaving them on when we're gone to a park or the food court.
