Good news from my doctor...my abdominal CT scan showed no signs of abscess, tumor or colitis, so they will continue to treat as they have been, since I seem to be seeing some improvement with the current medication. I guess it's being marked in my chart as IBS, in the absence of any other concrete evidence. So, I'm relieved it doesn't seem to be anything too serious, and sort of bummed that there really isn't a cure for IBS, just treatment for symptoms, but at least things look pretty good overall right now.

Obviously this response is coming very late (and I kind of sewed two of your posts together), sorry about that... Isn't it crazy the type of stuff they come up with to have us swallow these days? And usually it's such a ridiculous amount in very little time. UGH. Sorry to hear you have IBS, I am glad it is not something more serious, but IBS is no fun either. Unfortunately I know that all too well. I hope you figure out something that works and eases the symptoms.

After many problems with jonnies school he has been transferred to the districts Autism specialty schhol. He seems happier so far. He has a lot of medical things coming up within a month. Another EEG, Endoscopy, Colonoscopy and intestinal biopsys, as well as another EKG. Apparently one of the medicines Jonnies former GI doc gave him has been known. To cause Arrythmias in children. As Jonnies already has this issue his dr is concerned.

Keeping your family in my prayers. Sorry to hear all the bad medical news but I am glad your son seems to be doing better in his new school.

It's lucky #13 for us

We have an exciting evening of Mother/Daughter book club planned and Jayson is helping with Ben's soccer practice tonight -- he sort of by default became the team's assistant coach. He is taking of work two or three days next week though b/c he has leave to use and we usually try to go to Back Bay and bike while the kids are in school. We pack a picnic lunch. And then the next day I complain about my sore legs and bug bites We can't afford a nice dinner out this year. But our realtor claims he has three showings lined up this week and has asked us to extend our contract with him. I had to kindly tell him that we will be listing with a different agency. So he is now *confident* he can sell our house in 90 days. Let's see, he's had close to a year so far with no luck so not sure if he is confident the election will change things or if he is just pulling this out of his you know what. I think the latter. I wrote more about it on Disbout, and won't bore everyone here with all the crap.

I typed an update, lost my Internet connection, so trying this again very quickly before I collapse in bed. We had the pleasure of meeting the most fabulous Tracy (disnorth) tonight and she was simply wonderful! I LOVED hearing her laugh, she was so kind and Lisa couldn't stop hugging her. Tracy, THANK YOU for a wonderful night and memories! (D~, I was able to see the Dumbo bag in person and it was even better than the pics. Speaking of the pics, Rachel saw the Stitch guitar bag and wanted it ~2 of her faves, guitars and Stitch)!

The cute outfit Lisa is wearing is only on film in action shots...it arrived just before we left and was made (with Lisa's design choices) by Shannon (wyomingmomof6). Shannon, Lisa LOVES her M&M set, THANK YOU!!!!
