day trips using bus/train--not Paris?
are there any good day trips using bus/train to areas nearby DLP without a car, using local bus/train. We are going into Paris via train, so looking for places to visit that are 1 hour or less travel time each way. thank you, Elaine

Very few that are that close are accessible from DLP I'm afraid due to the way the public transport system is set up and the way that the whole "new town" area which set up.
You'd have to go into Paris by RER and out again or hire a car to see even places like Fontainbleau or Chantilly/Senlis One great place to go is Provins. It's a medieval town not far from DLP. It's a Unesco heritage site. They have lots of things to see and do and it's well worth a visit http://www.provins.net/ And you can get the bus http://www.procars.com/horaires/Lign...r_-_Retour.pdf http://www.procars.com/horaires/Lign..._Feries%29.pdf http://www.procars.com/procars.php?p...re=occasionnel
