Bittersweet trip last one before DH leaves... again

I know I been kind of absent from this PTR. This been a really hard week the sooner the trip gets the more exited and sad I get. Time is going by really fast which is great because I will get to see DH, but then the sooner he leaves . To say this week has been an emotional mess is being kind. I can't avoid not thinking about it anymore and I just kind of have to face reality .

I can't even count the times I just broke down crying for the smallest thing. Of course in my denial I think my thought process is if I ignore planning the trip it won't come so soon. Yeah right! So I been trying to avoid thinking about it all this. Sorry if this is all over the place this kind of how I feel. Friday finally things will slow down a bit and I will be back posting.

you will be very hapy with royal pacific! we have stayed there a few times.

the pool is beautiful... there is no slide, but at Universal pool hopping between the 3 resorts is allowed. the hard rock pool has a great slide.. the portofino pool is really pretty.

It has been a while but thankfully I have been busy which has taken my mind off DH being gone. He will be home soon and jut can't wait .

Let's start by our puppy passed the good citizen test . We are so proud of him. Just a picture because he is adorable.

Note: his paw are so red because of allergies we are working on it and predisone has made it better.


Ok so let's pick up were we left off...

I got a bunch of things done for our trip since the last time. I stopped at our AAA office and picked up a diamond parking pass. This is the first time we are going to be using it so I am very exited.

I also called and made requests for our reservations. For CBR I asked for Jamaica or Aruba.
For Royal Pacific tower one, theme park views.

This is probably the most exiting one of all I was able to get reservations for the california grill in time to see hallowishes for our last night.

I am still working on our touring plans for each park.

Our costumes are almost done and everything is ready to be put in a suitcase. Here is a little sneak peak of my costume.

I also found this adorable minnie cookies. I baked one box to see how they look and this is it.

I am happy to say I only have eaten 2 of those. I try to eat healthy but it is challenging having all this cookies around. I will bake some for our trip down.

Of course we can't forget some sunscreen.

Outfits for day 2 DHS

Hip update: The pain came back , I went to the doctor again and they send me to physical therapy. I haven't started yet, but I should soon hopefully it will make it better before the trip.

I am also working in some Cd's with Disney music for our drive down. Other than that we are almost ready to go. I can't wait we will be in Disney so soon. We need this break so bad.

Love all of the clothes you bought. I'm interested in seeing the costume all put together. I can't get my guys to agree on a costume. LOL!!

I can't believe we are going to be there in less than 2 weeks.

I know me either! I keep seeing my ticker and I just get the rush of excitement every time I do. In less than 2 week we will be at WDW.

Today was not a good day . I feel sick, so today I got some bad news.The first piece of bad news that DH is coming home later that he was supposed, in fact so much later that it is cutting close to our trip . The second we finally found out the day he is deploying and it is much sooner than I thought it would be . I been crying all day and to be honest not in the Disney mood anymore. I almost hope that the trip is not coming so fast just so DH doesn't have to leave. I am so worried I am not going to be able to have fun because all I am going to be thinking is DH leaves in x days. I notice DH is in the same funk, every time we talk he repeats over and over I just want to go home and spend time together. This really sucks I am was hoping we didn't find out the D date until after our trip .

Day 3 we are going to AK

Not sure what Dh will wear.

I am so exited our trip is almost here!!! I put the mail on hold and did the online check-in . I can't even believe that this time next week I will be getting mani/pedi before we go. Ok so I realize I didn't mention our whole plans for our trip to Florida. After Universal we are not coming home. We leave Universal the 15th and of course we will stop by the outlets to do some shopping DH doesn't know this yet , but he does whatever makes me happy so I don't think we will have a problem.

Then we will drive an hour to Daytona to see DH grandparents the are snow birds and will be down in their florida house then. We won't be staying with them because they have a time-share by the beach so the offer that to us . My in-laws decided they will be staying for this too . Oh well DH is really close to his grandparents and so am I so I can't wait to see them.

We plan on relaxing maybe visit St. Augustine a few days. Maybe some more shopping . We love St. augustine. Of course I would've love to stay in disney longer but DH grandpa can't walk too long and they are just not Disney people !

Outfit for day 4 will be my bathing suit since we will be in TL.

HIP UPDATE: Ok so I went back to the Doctor and she wanted me to go get the shot into the socket, but I told her I don't think is inflammation but of an alignment issue. Thankfully she listens to me, so I have a physical therapy Thursday. I hope I am able to fit a few in before we leave.

I have push the issue of DH leaving out of my brain for now. I am exited to get to see him soon and focus on that and of course the fact that we are going to WDW.

DH is home . He had the day off yesterday so we got some last minute things done around the house. This morning I run around taking care od the last minute things. I also went to get a mani and pedi and now I am ready to go. I am a anxious about leaving the fur babies . I know they are going to be ok, but no one takes care of them like I do. I wrote three pages for the pet sitter and put post its all over the house with remainders. Tonight I just have to pack some last minute stuff and tomorrow we go to pick up the rental and will start our drive. In two days we will be in WDW!!!! I can't wait
