Anyone one in Disney recently and notice a Lilo costume?

A friend's daughter wants to be Lilo for Halloween but she's having trouble finding a costume (other than outrageously priced ones on ebay!). Since we're leaving in less than 2 weeks, I told her I would check at DisneyWorld. Anyone there now, or recently there, and notice any?

A couple of years ago I wanted a Lilo costume for my dd to wear to our Ohana breakfast. I had a hard time finding one, so my Mom offered to make her one. Maybe your friend knows someone who sews. It wasnt a terribly hard pattern. We just went to Joannes and picked a plain dress pattern and then cut the palm leaves out and adhered them to the dress. Here are a couple of pics of my dd' s in them (older dd wanted one too after seeing younger dd with hers).

Youger dd will be wearing hers again for our Ohana breakfast in a month

Thanks! My girls enjoyed wearing them. I think only dd4 (5 at time of trip) will wear it this year. Older dd is almost 14 now...and rejecting things I think are cute

Instead of looking for a costume, look on the Internet for Hawaiian dresses. We found one that looked very much like Lilo's dress for DD last year when DD was in Lilo phase. I think it was only around $20.

Have you tried the "Etsy" web site. There are a lot of people on there that make comstumes and disney outfits. I'm sure someone there could make one at a reasonable price. We bought a Ariel dress for DD that was $22.

Happy Hunting!

Try Etsy for sure I know I have seen them there. It would be really easy to make one too, only basic skills would be necessary. Its a very simple dress.
