My sons did a YES class on June 18th of this year and I know the classes for that time frame were opened in February - I think around early-mid February. You mentioned the first week of June - I'm pretty sure that this past year the first YES class in June was only the second week.

I want to learn more about the YES program.
I feel like I have a pretty good grip on how to use it and such, but then I go and browse through those mega-threads and wowzers. There are def some YES vets out there that know exactly how to work it to the best use. My mission is to become a YES master ! Has anybody ever heard of them doing "groups" for 8 rather than 10 ? I couldn't even imagine trying to register 6 kids under the "individual" it would be my luck to get 4 or 5 in, but not all 6. They would all be 14 at the time of the trip. |

For those that have done the YES program I'm hoping that maybe you know the answer to a couple questions.
1. How many park tickets are you able to purchase besides those attending? For example sone and husband attend am I able to purchase tickets for self? 2. Not that I would ever do this but what happens if people don't show up for scheduled event due to illness or just about anything. Are thier tickets deactivated? I'm only asking because things can happen and just wanted to be prepared. 3. What age is consider an adult. For example if a child of 12 is attending can an 18 year old sibling be the adult. 4. Can you attend if you have an annual pass or do you have to buy a ticket package. Thanks |

Has anyone had the circumstance where you have one child who wants to attend a class and another who doesn't, or isn't old enough too? Would you have to pay full price for the one child's ticket then while the other child and adult tickets were the discounted price?

You can purchase a discounted ticket for the child that is not attending the class as well. You list them under children but you do not select them for a class.

One clarification to an earlier post. My DS8 went to a YES class this past Sept. It was my DH, my DD20, DS8 and myself. We were able to buy tickets for all 4 of us even though we only had one child going to the class and we were technically 3 adults.
If the 3rd adult has not been one of our children(a grandparent as an example) we would not have been allowed to do this.

When signing up for June classes when they became available in February, the system kept flagging my friend whenever she tried adding her son (18). She tried doing it with him under both the child and adult sections. She ended up only getting 2 adults and 2 childrens tickets and planned on just paying full price at the gate for her son. Son ended up not going so all way good in the end.
