Going to Disneyland!
I just booked 5 nights (March 3 - 8, 2013) at the Villas at the Grand Californian using DVC points. Woo hoo! Yes, it's still pretty far away, but I wanted to grab the reservation earlier rather than later, because I know that they fill up pretty fast. I'm also hoping that the crowds in Carsland will have abated just a little by then.
And the best part is that I now have 7 months to plan. :-D -- Dave

You probably should be okay... I don't think Spring Break will be a problem, though I'm sure someone local could chime in an confirm.
Have fun! Remember that even though reservations can be made 60 days out, there isn't nearly the need for them like in WDW. I usually check two weeks out if there's some place I want to absolutely confirm to get into.

Our first trip to WDW! Had fun, a bit disappointed in the lack of things to keep us busy. Next trip: eh, 5 years perhaps? Don't understand the psychosis of wasting time trying to meet actors in fursuits or princess costumes, but, wev...

Love where your staying. Since I live very close to Disneyland not an option for us but I know you will enjoy your home while your visiting. Carsland is awesome. The entrance to California Adventure should remind you of something...familiar. Have a great time!

Fun! I think GC is my favorite Disney resort of them all, though I have soft spots for CR and Poly as well.
I'm also a DVC owner and will be at VGC until 3/2 - that's the day my Premiere Passport expires. I was at DLR at the beginning of this month to check out Cars Land, and thought they did a fantastic job with it. But man, RSR gets crazy busy. |
