Very confused about Dining Plan

Good Morning! I never looked into having the dining plan before and I am confused.

If my hubby and I go for 6 nights and we get the Deluxe Dining Plan ($85.52 per day each), we would receive 36 total credits for meals?

Does that mean I could eat at 6 Signature restaurants for dinner each night and use only 24 credits?

Thanks!

That's exactly right and it's exactly what we do.

Until I figured this out, I couldn't understand why anyone would ever choose the deluxe plan (three TS meals a day just seemed like too much food and too much time in restaurants).

But two meals a day, with one being a signature dinner, is just perfect for us.

We typically alternate using the other credit for a TS breakfast (usually character buffet) or lunch.

Lol...thanks! For the Signature Restaurants do you also get appetizer, entree, dessert & beverage?

Do we also get a total of 24 snack credits for the week? Can we use more than 2 each in one day? I am planning on being a fat pig and eating ALOT at Food & Wine!

Exactly! And with your remaining 12 credits you could get breakfast or lunch each day at either a QS place or even a 1 TS restaurant! Enjoy.

You could use all of them in ONE day but, coupled with a Signature dinner, you WOULD be rolling back to your room!

Tips are not.

Yes you do get app, entree and dessert! We just did the DxDP this past April and we did a lot of signature and dinner shows - Cali Grill, Hoop Dee Doo, luau, CRT, Le Cellier, Brown Derby.

Wish we had been there for F&W just to use all of those snack credits! But we made up for it by going to Goofy's in DtD and getting 3 boxes full of goodies on our last day

That price is for 2012. The price for 2013 is $99.97. And, yes, it still includes the tax.

So . . . on the Deluxe Dining Plan, you can use the meal credits for ANY type of meal (i.e., a counter service, table service or a signature restaurant)? We currently have the the regular dining plan for our trip over Thanksgiving, but I'm trying to figure out if it would be better to upgrade to Deluxe. Thanks in advance!
