Need ideas for suprises for Niece

We will be visiting our favorite mouse and friends in January. There will be seven of us going, DH & I, our Niece who will turn 6 while in WDW her mom and dad, and then my mom and step dad. With so many people getting a say in our plans we are pretty much planned out for the week so "kidnapping" my niece for a few hours for anything is out of the question.

That being said I'm looking for a few fun surprises for my niece. Either something I can quietly purchase on property or something we could carry in our backpack and bring out at the right time. I saw another thread about saying hello in the native languages of the EPCOT countries and I'm thinking about making her a index card with all of the hellos on it. What I don't want is to have something for every day or thing we do because then she will expect it. So lets hear your ideas and thanks for your help

What about buying her the Epcot Showcase Passport (about $10-$12) and taking her to each country to get it stamped at the Kidcot Fun Stop stations in each country?

Or Pick-A-Pearl in Japan where she can choose her own oyster out of a tank and see what size pearl she gets. When you get home, you could have a necklace made with the pearl on it.

Also, if those are too little, what about making her a hair appointment at BBB? Not sure what your budget is but It's significant cheaper than getting the whole sha-bang but she could still have a pretty tiara and sash to enjoy for her special day.

Just saw the part about not being able to snag her for a couple hours so maybe a hair appointment at BBB wouldn't work

The Pick-a-Pearl is a great idea. You can buy a pearl cage from eBay before your trip and and set it as soon as she gets it. I found a darling little cage for $5 on eBay, it's Cinderella's carriage. There were several listed and from the sellers history it seems to be something they have all the time. She may seem a tad young for it, but pearls are timeless, so it's something she will have her whole life, along with the wonderful memory of getting it.

Thanks for the ideas. As for BBB she already has an appointment at Pirates League for the mermaid make over. She is the real life Melody, human but desperately wants to be a mermaid. We've already ordered a "real" mermaid costume for the event because the Ariel dresses Disney sells aren't authentic enough for her liking. LOL.

The Epcot passport along with the hello's will be a fun thing. It will also keep her entertained it what is usually one of her least favorite things to do.

Does anyone know if they will set the petals there after you pick one? If not I'll just order the cage off e-bay like someone suggested. (Sorry I'm on my phone right now and can't see the thread while I type). Anyway I'm thinking that maybe getting matching/coordinating necklaces us would be fun.

Keep the ideas coming!

They do have settings you can buy at Pck-a-pearl, but from reviews and comments here on the DIS, they are quite expensive.
