Question Is taking fresh food into France allowed??

Newbie here but been lurking and think it's a great site and wanted to say hello

A celebration DLP trip has been booked for mid-March 2013, staying at DHNY, (loving that 40% Disney offer!) and I was wondering if any of you could help me out with any information on the following. Apologies if this has been asked before any help would be appreciated.

* Can a family of 4 adults take fresh fruit, veg, bread products etc on the Eurostar and legally into France? I know some countries are strict about what food products can be taken over borders but not sure about France's policies.

* I will be at the Parks during St. Patricks Day, has anyone got any pictures or know if Disney put up special decorations/have special parades etc during this celebration time?

Just set-up my ticker, let the planning commence
