Grocery Deliveries to AKL? - The DIS Discussion Forums

I was told the Garden Grocer was a great website to order groceries and have them delivered to your resort. But how does it work exactly? I'm going to order snacks and breakfast-type foods for us. Can I specify a date and delivery time to our resort? Do we have to be checked in and/or in our room for delivery?

You order in advance and they will deliver to the hotel the date and time you decide. You do not have to be there or even checked in yet, bell services will hold it for you and refrigerate the perishables. We used them last year and will again in October.

We've used garden grocer before and would again! Chose our delivery date - the delivery beat us to the hotel so they stored everything until we were checked into our room! It was such a smooth process!

Do they charge a flat delivery fee or % and can you order wine/beer?

It is a flat fee unless you order over $200, in which case delivery is free. You can order wine and beer off the website and if you would like alcohol, you can place a request in the comment section and they will contact you to let you know how much it will be. We have used them several times and have always been pleased.
