I had a pool view last week, and although it was very nice we really missed the savannah view. I just love being out on the balcony watching the animals, it's really amazing.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my value and moderate stays, but I have to say AKL is truly a fabulous place to experience. I can't sing its praises enough!

10pm now -- at this point, I just hope they bring it tonight!! I found other clothes to pack, but there are some toiletry items I would sure like to bring with me!!

So I made my connection but my luggage didn't!

The bag came in on a flight this evening and is supposedly en route to me -- although it may be midnight before it arrives! When it finally arrives, I need to unpack it, do the laundry, repack and be on the road between 7 and 8am. It's a 7-hour drive to Bragg.

I oughta be a real beaut by the time I get there!!! Cranky and sleepy!!!

What a pain. I hope your luggage has arrived safe and sound and that you managed to get some sleep.

My vacation is creeping up on me and this will be the first time ever that I will be staying onsite during the holiday season. We were in Orlando over Thanksgiving in 2007, but we only became DVC members during this trip and stayed on International Drive. Because of this, a lot of the holiday offerings passed me by.

This time round we are staying at WDW from November 17th to 27th and I wonder what things I should not miss. Here are the things that are already on my list:

The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights
Candlelight Processional
Monorail Resorts
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
Fort Wilderness

Just a quick follow-up! My suitcase finally arrived at 6:00am this morning!!! I managed to get about 2-1/2 hours sleep -- yep, I shall be one cranky female later today!!!

I grabbed what I absolutely needed out of the vagabond suitcase - I'll unpack the rest next week!!

Thanks, I have added them to my list. It would be great if the decorations were already up when we are staying at BWV, but I think we may be out of luck.

Corinna, they also have sleigh rides at the WL. Not sure when they start though. And Santas around the World at Epcot. Each countries version of Santa Clause does a little story time. There are numerous times throughout the day that they come out.
